I smile thinking of you
Fall head over heels, they say. Find someone you can love like crazy and who’ll love you the same way back. But how can you know who’s good for you and who’s not?
I feel like my life is so scattered. Like it’s all just small pieces of paper that someone threw away in the wind.

jar of happy moments
New Year and I felt the urge of doing something different.
Something creative like I used to do.
Small projects – collages, postcards, do it yourself, anything.
Anything that implies mess, stick to a promise, happiness, people I love and, of course, ME.
So, thinking about my project back in 2011 of “30 days of doing something new” I started the Jar of Happy Moments.
Each time something that makes me happy happens, I write it down on a colorful post-it and put it in the jar.
Going through some notes of last year I realized that my life is not that boring nor missing happy fun days.
So this time I want to be able to remember everything and everyone that made me happy this year.
It’s all about seeing the full half of the jar – the happy moments about to come.

Newcastle and the North Sea
Whitley Bay is wonderful. It reminds me so much about Oostende that my heart went “wow” when I saw the shores, the sea and the lighthouse fading in the waves.
Who would have thought that after 6 years I would be on the other shore of the frozen sea, again during the winter !?
I wished I wasn’t by myself here, catching the wind on the stoney beaches and eating bacon salad at The Fire Station.
