Russia – St. Basil Cathedral and museum from Volgograd

To thank me for the earrings that I sent her as a gift for Christmas, Anastasia from Russia sent me a postcard with my favorite cathedral from Moscow – St. Basil. I love it because it looks like it’s made from ginger bread; and all that  snow is like powder sugar on top.

And her parents sent me one postcard with a museum from Volgograd – the old Stalingrad from World War II.

I’ve been trying to find a place I’ve been to but apparently I don’t travel much. So – I’ve picked this entry because that building is fascinating – it looks like noone could decide on the style, so everyone got one bit to do and none of it matches – but it still looks cool!

I’ve found your blog via the recent swap on swapbot – I’ll be linking to your blog from my craft blog http://crafty-carrie.blogspot.com
