I don’t know how long we sat, eyes closed, cuddled in bed trying to listen to the others heart beat. There were only vibrations, no more tic-tocs.

A big nothing, not even a buzz or a sting in the ear. Absolute silence. One hour felt like a day.

And we both thought this must be a nightmare or at least a bad joke.

How could the world go silent?
