Starry giveaway!- Now Closed!

Some time ago I ordered my own printed postcards from pictures taken during holidays and old black and white reconditioned postcards from the ‘30s.

Now is easier to choose the right card for the right person and mail it without worrying that I have to go to the shop and buy some cards or that I don’t have one of those nice cards that everybody liked.

So, from my stack of postcards I’m giving away 4 black & white ones to one of you that leaves a comment on this post by 27th of May, 12:00 PM Eastern Europe standard time telling me which is your favorite book or author and why. Open worldwide!

And because this month I completely changed my blog’s template and name from “La Parfumerie d’Ayda” in “Stardust and Dreams” for the first time in almost 3 years, I’m also giving away some Shooting stars, a pair of my handmade earrings made from silver plated cones and moss agate little stars with silver plated ear wires.

Please leave me a way to contact you if you win.

Good luck and starry days!

    Those postcards are very beautiful.

You know, sometime I wish that I could transport back in time during the 1930’s or 40’s. Life was so much simple back then.

Great giveaway! Love those postcards. c:

I actually have lots of favorite books and authors. One of them is Mitch Albom who wrote Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven. I love his books because I find them very inspirational and heartwarming. c:

I’m trying my luck too 😉

About my favourite book – in high school it was Madame Bovary from Gustave Flaubert – she was quite a character, then it was Shakespeare’s poetry… Current I don’t have any favourites.

Cool giveaway! Being the teenager me (haha), I’ve never really received a postcard for myself nor give a postcard 😦 All because of technology. I really want to have those postcards please! I will treasure them for sure! 🙂

    Cool earrings as well! 🙂

Now about the question. Sad to say I don’t have plenty of time to read books. I am a full time student in a “pressured cooker” university! haha 🙂
But despite that, of course Bible would be my favorite book for all eternity. But if you’re asking about like fictional books and the like, I would say Percy Jackson: Lightning Thief would be my favorite. I’ve watched the movie and was curious of the book version. I read it and it was much cooler than the movie! I really like it because Im a Greek Myth Fan! Now I have the second book Demigods and Monsters but haven’t read it yet. 🙂

Please email me if you want me to have my very first postcards! haha :))

My favorite book is The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon. It is such an incredibly involved book, so mysterious and so fascinating, and yet so bewildering. I’ve read it so many times and each time I do it is different. It’s amazing.
